You will be expected to manage your portfolio with a high degree of autonomy, while working collaboratively with colleagues across the business, including accounts, compliance, and senior management. You will be comfortable visiting sites, managing contractors, and communicating professionally with residents, directors, and developers.

  • You build strong, trusted relationships with RMC directors, developers, and freeholders

HOW YOU’LL SPEND MOST OF YOUR TIME

Most weeks, you’ll be:

  • Carrying out regular site inspections and producing detailed inspection reports
  • Managing reactive and planned maintenance across your portfolio
  • Overseeing contractor performance and ensuring works are completed to standard
  • Preparing and managing service charge budgets and ensuring accurate financial reporting
  • Communicating proactively with residents, RMC directors, freeholders, and developers
  • Attending AGMs, director meetings, and resident events as required
  • Ensuring developments remain compliant with all relevant health, safety, and legislative requirements
  • Responding to resident and client enquiries promptly and professionally
  • Working collaboratively with internal teams on accounts, major works, and compliance matters

This role suits someone who:

  • Has experience in residential property management or a closely related field
  • Communicates clearly and professionally, both in writing and in person
  • Is highly organised, able to prioritise effectively and manage a varied workload
  • Takes genuine pride in the quality of the developments they are responsible for
  • Builds strong relationships with clients, residents, and contractors
  • Is comfortable working independently while contributing fully as part of a team
  • Has a good working knowledge of leasehold legislation, service charge management, and health and safety requirements

It would be advantageous if you also have:

  • A TPI, RICS or equivalent qualification (or are working towards one)
  • Experience managing RMC or RTM controlled developments
  • Familiarity with property management software
  • Experience preparing major works programmes or Section 20 consultations
