Location: Riverlight, London, SW11 8DX
Working Hours: Monday – Friday 0800 - 1700
Salary: £55,000 - £70,000 (depending on experience)

Development Details:
This role will be based at a deluxe riverside development in the heart of the Nine Elms regeneration site. Consisting of 812 apartments, Riverlight benefits from inner gardens, a private library, entertainment centre and a health centre, consisting of: pool, gym, and spa. Riverlight is easily accessible with Battersea Power Station, Battersea Park, Queenstown Road, Vauxhall, and Nine Elms stations all within 15min walking distance.
Key Responsibilities and Requirements:
As a Facilities Manager at Rendall & Rittner, you will:
- You have proven experience working in fast-paced, high-demand environments, with a strong background in Health & Safety and statutory compliance. Your expertise include client reporting, managing hard services and overseeing M&E operations as well as direct line managing a team of 10 (cleaning and estate operative team).
- You will be a hands-on manager overseeing your team and contractors, ensuring they are working to a high standard and directing as needed.
- You will have demonstratable experience in managing a range of onsite major projects, with various projects happening simultaneously. Works this includes pre project planning and delivery – reviewing scope of works, Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS), tendering, supervising contractors, risk management, permits to work etc.
- You will oversee the daily management of the facilities services, across hard and soft services, managing a multitude of contractors and service party providers and H&S administration.
- You will manage the cleaning and estate operative team, responsible for performance management, appraisals, recruitment and any other staffing related matters.
- You bring a high level of contractor management experience, having worked with a broad range of service providers and specialists to ensure quality, value, and timely delivery.
- You will be computer literate with experience working on BMS systems.
- You have experience setting / managing PPM’s and actioning any remedials as required.
- Manage and coordinate the reactive maintenance desk. Dealing with all maintenance issues concerning the communal areas and commercial units.
- M&E weekly checks - Mechanical, Electrical, Landscape Plant rooms, Tank rooms etc. and associated admin.
- You’ll have managed customers, assisting with queries and responding to any complaints.
- Able to handle confidential and sensitive information, dealing with issues and queries with utmost professionalism.
- Updating and maintaining Health and Safety files and COSHH folders.
- You ideally have the NEBOSH qualification.
