Position: Chief of Security and Duty Manger

Location: Point West, London, SW7 4XR

Working Hours:  Monday to Friday 0800 - 1700 

Salary:  £35,000 - £45,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Development Details:

This role will be based on the Point West Development in the borough of Kensington & Chelsea, close to Earls Court and the Albert Hall. The development is made up of 400 residential homes, a Sainsburys super store and David Lloyd Gym complex is located within walking distance of Gloucester Road Tube station.

 

Key Responsibilities and Requirements:

As a Chief of Security and Duty Manger at Rendall & Rittner, you will:

  • You will support the General Manager with the security operational running of the estate, overseeing security strategies, managing front desk operations and ensuring SOPs are implemented and being followed accordingly.
  • You will have robust experience in security management, evacuation policies, access control, investigating incidents in a timely manner, managing / viewing CCTV, carrying out site patrols and H&S checks, overseeing traffic management and implement diversion routes when required.
  • You have experience developing security strategies, SOP’s and business continuity plans.
  • You will be accountable for Ingress Strategy, Access Control and Surveillance.
  • You will ensure compliance with Fire Safety, CCTV, Data Protection Policies including site specific policies on key handling and parcel management.
  • You will have experience working in managerial roles within security, managing onsite teams. This includes performance management, reviews, appraisals, training and development, and rota management.
  • Liaise with Law Enforcement and Security Vendors as required.
  • Responsible for ensuring delivery of high-end quality customer service for residents, tenants and guests, and handle day-to-day matters in a prompt and professional manner.
  • Responsible for managing the work permits, reviewing RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements) and supervising contractors whilst they are on site.
  • Ensure a welcome pack is being sent to every new resident and enforce short-let practices.
  • You will act as the first point of authority for leaseholders to comply with sub-letting licence registration; investigate, enforce, and follow up on payments
