ROLE EXPECTATIONS
You will deliver high standards of cleanliness across communal areas, ensuring spaces are safe, tidy and ready for residents and visitors each day. You’ll take pride in presentation, follow structured cleaning schedules, and respond to ad-hoc requests. Working closely with the on-site team, you’ll help create a friendly, professional atmosphere throughout the development.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
- Communal areas are consistently spotless, well-presented and free from hazards.
- You follow agreed schedules and complete checklists accurately and on time.
- Residents and visitors feel welcomed through courteous interaction and prompt support.
- Cleaning materials are used safely and efficiently, with stock levels maintained.
- Issues such as damage, faults or safety risks are reported quickly and clearly.
- You are reliable, punctual and flexible to support the needs of the development.
HOW YOU'LL SPEND MOST OF YOUR TIME
- Cleaning lobbies, corridors, lifts, stairwells and other communal spaces.
- Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and polishing surfaces to a high standard.
- Managing waste and recycling areas, including bins and refuse rooms.
- Replenishing consumables and maintaining cleaning equipment.
- Conducting routine checks and recording tasks completed.
- Assisting the concierge and management team with occasional ad-hoc duties.

EXPERIENCE THAT HELPS
- Previous cleaning experience in residential, hotel or commercial settings.
- Familiarity with safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Experience working in busy, customer-facing environments.
- Confidence following checklists and recording completed tasks.
- Understanding of waste and recycling processes in large buildings.
