ROLE OVERVIEW
You will lead and grow a portfolio of key residential property clients, acting as their trusted insurance partner and advocate. In a fast-growing business, you will shape tailored insurance programmes, deliver exceptional service and negotiate the best outcomes with leading insurers.

ROLE EXPECTATIONS
You will spend most days engaging with clients and insurers, planning renewals, shaping programme design and resolving issues quickly and confidently. You will balance strategic portfolio development with hands-on broking, pipeline management and clear, timely communication to keep stakeholders aligned.

HOW YOU'LL SPEND MOST OF YOUR TIME
- Leading renewal strategies, market submissions and negotiations to secure best-in-class cover and pricing.
- Meeting and advising clients, translating risk profiles into clear recommendations and actions.
- Managing tenders and new business opportunities, from qualification through to presentation and close.
- Coordinating claims oversight and advocacy, ensuring swift resolutions and insightful reporting.
- Developing growth plans for your portfolio, tracking pipeline, MI and performance against targets.
- Nurturing insurer partnerships and staying ahead of market trends impacting residential property risks.

EXPERIENCE THAT HELPS
- Managing agent or residential property insurance portfolios (blocks of flats, RMCs, RTMs, freeholders).
- Broking, placement and negotiation experience with major UK property insurers and MGAs.
- Leading renewals, tenders and claims advocacy in a regulated broking environment.
- Familiarity with broking platforms and CRM/MI tools (e.g., Acturis) and strong Excel/reporting skills.
- Exposure to risk management, cover design and wording comparisons for multi-location property risks.
