EXECUTIVE BUSINESS MANAGER

  • Odevo UK • £Competitive, aligned to experience • Hybrid – 3 days in London Office

ROLE OVERVIEW

This is a rare opportunity to operate at the centre of a fast-scaling, international business. Partnering directly with the UK Group CEO and CFO to shape how Odevo UK runs, makes decisions and delivers.

As Executive Business Manager, you will act as a force multiplier at the highest level of the organisation. You will bring clarity, structure and momentum to executive priorities, ensuring ideas turn into action, decisions translate into outcomes, and nothing critical falls through the cracks.

This is not a traditional support role. You will own the executives’ system of work across communications, board activity, executive meetings and cross-functional delivery, operating with high autonomy and judgement.

The role is designed as a pathway to Chief of Staff, offering exceptional exposure, influence and long-term development.

ROLE EXPECTATIONS

You will operate as a trusted partner to the CEO and CFO, anticipating needs, making decisions within agreed guardrails, and ensuring their time is focused on the highest value work.

You will bring structure to ambiguity, drive pace across priorities, and confidently engage senior stakeholders across Finance, People, Legal and Operations.

You will also lead and develop an Executive Assistant, ensuring seamless, high-quality executive support aligned to business priorities.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

You’ll be successful in this role if:

  • The CEO and CFO operate with clarity, focus and minimal friction
  • Inbox → decision → action → completion flows seamlessly
  • Executive and board meetings are highly effective, outcome-driven and disciplined
  • Board packs and executive materials are consistently high quality and delivered on time
  • Stakeholders are aligned, accountable and responsive

HOW YOU’LL SPEND MOST OF YOUR TIME

Most weeks, you’ll be:

  • Owning executive communications; triaging inboxes, drafting responses and driving actions
  • Driving executive and leadership meeting cadence, ensuring clarity of decisions and follow through
  • Owning board and committee processes, including agendas, papers and governance
  • Creating and refining high-quality executive and board level presentations
  • Coordinating cross-functional activity
  • Tracking key priorities, actions and delivery across the business
  • Leading and guiding the Executive Assistant to deliver seamless executive support
  • Occasional travel to sites across the UK as required.

WHO THIS ROLE IS FOR

This role suits someone who:

  • Has operated as an Executive Business Partner, Chief of Staff or senior EA at C-level
  • Thrives in fast paced, high accountability environments
  • Is highly organised, proactive and detail focused without losing the bigger picture
  • Exercises strong judgement and is confident making decisions
  • Communicates with clarity and credibility at senior level
  • Can influence, align and drive accountability across stakeholders

It would be advantageous if you also have:

  • Board-level experience, including governance, papers and meeting cadence
  • Experience managing or mentoring an Executive Assistant or coordinator
  • Strong PowerPoint capability, producing executive-ready materials
  • Advanced Outlook and Teams capability
  • Experience working in a multi-entity or group structure

EXPERIENCE THAT HELPS

  • Supporting CEO/CFO or senior leadership teams
  • Managing executive communications and priorities at scale
  • Driving coordination across multiple stakeholders and functions
  • Preparing high quality board and executive materials
  • Handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion

ABOUT ODEVO

We are on a mission to become the leading international force in residential property management. What we do matters to billions of people in their everyday lives.

Residential real estate is the world’s largest asset class, and for most families, buying a home is the single biggest financial decision they will ever make. For too long, residential property management has fallen short of homeowners' and residents' expectations, and the industry is ready for change. Odevo was formed to make that change happen.

In just six years, Odevo has grown more than 70-fold, establishing us as the leading international player. We are more than 12,000 people across the US, the UK, the Nordics, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Mexico, and Italy building Odevo. Together, we aspire to break new ground through innovation and cultivate a workplace where we help each other succeed, where ideas matter more than titles, and where kindness is a strength.

By combining the power of people and technology, we set a new standard for how homes are managed. Our technology-enabled services simplify living for residents and create a better experience for property owners and boards.

Our ambition is to continue our fast-growing journey through new customers, service expansion, and by partnering with great companies that share our mindset and ambition, both in existing and new markets.

As we continue to grow, we stay true to who we are, challenge unnecessary bureaucracy, and keep decision-making close to our customers.

If you share our mindset and ambition, we’d love you to join us and help accelerate our mission together.

HOW WE HIRE
